Your replacement shattershield includes: the shatter shield lens, a removal pick, a wet wipe, and a dry wipe.

Before you begin, as with most other repairs, make sure your Droid Turbo 2 is turned off completely. Additionally, be extremely careful not to let any dust fall on the actual screen of the Droid Turbo 2 after you remove the shattershield or the new shattershield once you peel away the protective covers. Dust will ruin the screen’s ability to adhere and will stay there forever if it falls onto the Droid Turbo 2 lens. Also, once the new shattershield touches the phone it is stuck in the spot it falls on, removing it will ruin the clearness of the screen surface, so when you put the shattershield down, do it carefully and line it up slowly.

To remove your old shattershield, place the pick between the power button and the top layer of the phone, located at the top of the phone and slide it through until you get the shattershield up and peel it off. Do not use metal because it will scratch the plastic lower lens of your Droid Turbo 2. Step two is to thoroughly clean the screen of the phone using the wet wipe to remove any residue of the old shattershield or specks of dust on the screen. Next, take the dry wipe to clean the screen again making sure you leave behind no specks of dust or hair on the screen. Finally, grab the lens and remove side number one without touching the lens. Line up the new lens with the earpiece at the top first, make sure the earpiece hole on the lens is centered on the phone’s earpiece and press it onto the screen. Then, slide your fingers along the sides of the phone and screen protector to make sure they are aligned as you let the shattershield fall carefully onto the screen. Now, press down on the shattershield in the center of the screen, making a cross and push the air bubbles out starting from the middle of the phone. The video will show you how to do this. Once the bubbles are out, peel the second protective cover and you are done.
